Goodbye sirens.

Hello witches.

My name is Mylène! I am a teacher by day and a photographer by night!

The love of photography runs in my family. I clearly remember my aunts holding their precious Leica, Nikon and Canon cameras while I was growing up. They were always ready to capture every moment, no matter how boring or overwhelming they were. It's no wonder that for my 10th birthday, I requested my first camera. At the age of 16 I got my first DSLR camera and now at the age of 27 I take both analog and digital photos on a daily basis. I just couldn't live without my camera.

I would describe my style of photography as lifestyle . I love having a primordial element in the frame in order to truly capture the moment and the emotions conveyed by the subject. Lifestyle photography is a branch of photography which aims to take portraits of people (or animals!) in everyday life situations, in an artistic way. The goal is to tell a story and to inspire. The goal is not just to take pretty photos, but to capture this exciting stage in your life as it is now.
